The roof supporting structure (framework) is made of cold-formed steel sections to which corrugated sheet panels are mounted. The steel sections are heat galvanised, to a total zinc layer thickness of 275 g/m2 (Z-275).
The roof panels have a zinc/aluminium alloy coating on both sides. The panels are attached using self-tapping screws furnished with neoprene washers to avoid leakage.
Filling strips of polyethylene foam are used under the roof panels around the gutter in order to obtain complete sealing.
The roof insulation consists of 200 mm mineral wool plates with a U=0.21 W/m2K coefficient (with U= 0.28 W/m2K for 150 mm mineral wool plates and U=0.30 W/m2K for 140 mm mineral wool plates). The plates are secured from the inside with a quasi-insulation made of 0.2 mm PE stabilised foil.
Profiled steel panels are mounted to the inside of the roof purlins. The panels are zinc-coated on both sides. The visible side is Polyester coated in the RAL 9010 white colour. The rear side is primer coated in a light grey colour.
The skylights mounted in the roof will be double (front roof panel) and single (inside roof panel). Material: the top sheet is a profiled polyester, opal coloured sheet. The second sheet is a clear polycarbonate channel sheet. Both sheets are airtight bonded together.
